I know I sometimes talk about being an ~~arctic adventurer~~ and stuff, but I've never actually SHOWN you guys what the frickin ENDS OF THE EARTH look like!!!

And I want to share!!

So without further ado :)

Greenland ~ 65 North

(I should mention that ALL of these pics are taken by me, all on my brave little phone that accompanied me up north!)

That tiny little speck out there is our BOAT which can go through a max of like 10 cm of ice and felt like it was made of nothing but tin and canvas. How did we get all the gear onto the cliff do you ask? Luck, mostly.

It's very black and white, very stark up here :)

Northern Alaska ~ 72 N

The sky feels so close this far north. Picture was taken around 1 am; we were in 24 hour daylight.

Welcome to the furthest north most human beings will ever even potentially see. Only way to get around up here is snowmobiles and wooden sleds. Plastic and metal and largely no-nos. Plastic breaks, and metal gives you frostbite.

Clouds do weird things up here too. They're either there or not. Nothing is really soft up here. But here you can gaze out onto the edge of the Earth.
